The Middle East is the home to pistachio, and Iran has long been one of its primary producers and exporters. Pistachio is originally from Iran. Even the pistachio grown today in California is of Iranian origin, with its most delicate type named Kerman (a city in Iran).

Pistachios are a great source of healthy fats, fiber, protein, antioxidants and various nutrients, including vitamin B6 and potassium.

In Negin Elixir, we offer all kinds of Iranian pistachio (the most important ones shortly described below) in packages of 10, 25, and 50 kilograms. These pistachios are divided into two groups of in-shell and kernel. In-shell pistachios are mostly consumed as dried nuts & fruits, and kernels are generally used in making cakes, pastries and in the food industry.

Ahmad Aghaci

Ahmad Aghaei (aka Khandan, or smiling), distinguished from other pistachios by its whitish shell and red kernel, is long and almond-shaped, most popular in East Asia, especially in India and China. It is ready for harvest in mid-September and is available in sizes 20-22, 22-24, 24-26, 26-28 and 28-30, 30-32

Akbari

Akbari is long and large, with a beautiful and luxurious look plus its delicate taste. This type of pistachio is trendy in the countries around the Persian Gulf. Akbari is ready for harvest in late September and is available in Sizes 18-20, 20-22, 22-24, 24-26, 26-28.

Kalle Ghouchi (Jumbo)

Fandoghi (Round)

Fandoghi (Round) This type of pistachio is shorter and smaller than other long types. It has a round, hazelnut shape. Considering its reasonable price, Fandoghi is one of the best-selling pistachios. It is ready for harvest in late August and is available in sizes 26-28, 28-30, 30-32.

Normal Pistachio Kernel

As its name suggests, this type of kernel is obtained from unripe pistachios harvested between April and August. The measure for these kernels quality is their color, the more they look green, the richer they are.
